What is Musicar?

Launched in February 2025, MUSICAR is a free music education course for children and teenagers from Bangu and surrounding areas. It offers practical lessons in choral singing, percussion, and provides students with all educational materials and a snack.

Currently, the project serves 15 students, with a portion of the spots reserved for students with level 1 autism spectrum disorder, promoting inclusion and social participation.

Where does it take place?

The course is held at Areninha Cultural Hermeto Pascoal in Bangu, Rio de Janeiro, with classes once a week, every Monday from 3 PM to 5 PM. At the end of the year, there will be a final presentation to conclude the course at the same venue.
